Student competition around a case study in aerospace

The Vitrines 2022 event offers an opportunity to discover the many career, employment, internship and training opportunities currently offered within the aerospace sector.
Over the next few years, tens of thousands of positions will need to be filled within the industry. With retirement time looming for hundreds of workers and many programs firmly taking off, companies are turning to a dynamic and creative new generation to manufacture and repair greener planes, engines and components!
Description
This one-of-a-kind event is organized with the support of the Government of Quebec, in collaboration with the CAMAQ. It will take place in Science Center of Montreal on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The event will bring together professionals and recruiters from the sector, as well as representatives of educational institutions offering training programs leading to a career in aerospace.
Showcases 2022 will include a large-scale student competition, which will bring together, for its 5th edition, all the CEGEPs and universities of Quebec around a practical case related to sustainable development. Each team will present an innovative and commercially viable solution for an eco-responsible aerospace industry.
CRIAQ is a partner of the Student Competition and will award a $1000 scholarship to the winning team.

Format :

How to participate and win one of the many prizes:
- Register for the micro-WIL (each team member must register)
- Respond to the practical case and send it to aeroportail@aeromontreal.ca before April 25th, 11:00 am (EDT)
- All participants will receive feedback on their practical case.
- All participants are invited to come on May 7 to listen to the lectures and the selected students who will present their case.
- The selected teams will have to present their case to the jury in person on May 7 between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm (EDT)
Requirements to pass the micro-WIL:
- Be part of a team of 2 to 4 members
- Develop and present a solution for the practical case presented as part of the competition.
- Send the case study to aeroportail@aeromontreal.ca before April 25, 11 am (EDT) and specifying their names and e-mail addresse of the people involved in the work
- The case study can be written in English or French.
