The mechanical engineering department at Université de Sherbrooke offers a bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering with a concentration in aeronautical engineering. This innovative program is unique in Canada and is based on training in design skills. Students carry out a major design project from concept design to building a prototype. This bachelor's program provides access to a new integrated bachelor's-master's process. The master's program in aerospace engineering is offered in collaboration with other Quebec universities and companies working in the aerospace industry. The objective of this program is to train highly specialized engineers for the aerospace industries.
