Canadas defence industry is a cornerstone of security and economic growth on Canadian soil. These large-scale contracts support innovation, maintain challenging, high-value-added jobs, and contribute to the growth of our industry. 

 

The mandate of this working group is to help Québecs aerospace industry better compete with Canadian and international players in the aerospace defence market. (Created in 2009) 

 

Objectives: 

  • Help Québec’s aerospace industry better compete with Canadian and international players in the aerospace defence market. 
  • Identify, coordinate the execution and ensure the follow-up of the steps to structure projects in support of strategic recommendations. 
  • Work with other organizations in the field to ensure non-duplication of efforts.

  • SDQuébec Portal 
  • Symposium on the Canadian Defence and Security Market 
  • Training program on the Canadian, American, European and NATO markets
  • Training program and coaching in cybersecurity

Our working group aims to be at the forefront of reflection, analysis, and innovation on these essential topics. My mission will be to strengthen our role as a catalyst by fostering dialogue, sharing expertise, and identifying innovation opportunities among Canada’s industrial, academic, and governmental stakeholders. Our objective is to propose meaningful insights and pragmatic solutions adapted to the operational realities of our armed forces and security organizations."
