Global Training Partner Congress 2014 by IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA), which is headquartered here in Montreal, strives to be the force for value creation and innovation, driving a safe, secure and profitable air transport industry that sustainably connects and enriches our world.
As such, IATA’s Training and Development Institute (ITDI) has a mandate to train the people of the industry to achieve this goal. In the last couple of years, ITDI has tripled its training partner network to reach out to a vast aviation audience with over 450 partners in over 80 countries. Using this expansive network, they train almost 92,000 students worldwide on an annual basis.
They will be hosting the 2014 Global Training Partner Congress in our home town of Montreal (May 27-28) this year in an effort to update the members of the network on the latest industry developments and challenges as well as the innovative learning methodologies developed within ITDI to address those challenges.
This will be an opportunity for IATA to listen to members of the industry and allow them to share their best practices with their fellow organizations. The strong diversity of participants, coming from different countries and different segments of the industry, provides a useful platform for dialogue to promote growth and sustainability.
