The Croissance Sécurité Défense Québec (CSDQ) Portal
A tool to optimize your business development

Québec’s aerospace industry is being proactive on the defence and national security market. Accordingly, Aéro Montréal, Québec’s aerospace cluster, is putting in place initiatives and tools to support the growth of companies in this sector and contribute to the expansion of their know-how both in Canada and abroad.

To further optimize the effectiveness and tangible benefits of business development efforts by defence and security companies, Aéro Montréal and its partners Sous-traitance industrielle Québec (STIQ) and Québec International (QI) are developing the Croissance Sécurité Défense Québec (CSDQ) Portal. The Web portal is being developed in conjunction with Québec's Ministry of Economy, Science and Innovation (MESI). It will address all areas of the defence and national security ecosystem: aerospace, land, naval, C4ISR.

The Croissance Sécurité Défense Québec (CSDQ) Portal will offer a range of services to companies and organizations wishing to expand their activities in the national security and defence sector. Here is an overview:

  • Technical training, mentoring and representation services
  • Mapping of Québec’s security and defence sectors to enable Québec companies to promote their industrial and research capabilities to potential customers
  • Active monitoring of opportunities related to national defence procurement programs and federal industrial and technological benefits (ITB) programs and policies
  •  Access to the content and resources of all relevant government departments and agencies, both federal and provincial, as well as of all pertinent institutional and association stakeholders
