A Transport Canada Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with over 25 years in the Aviation industry with 15 of those years in aviation technical operations management. Michael has a broad experience base in various areas of Airline operations and operators (Large legacy Carriers, Low cost carriers, Start ups and Cargo carriers) as well as AMO and MRO. Specific experience in the areas of line maintenance, airframe (heavy) maintenance, engine maintenance and component maintenance (MRO), with expertise in vendor selection, vendor set up and management and a passion for aviation safety, training, quality and Regulatory modernization. Owning and operating a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) and having dealt extensively with Regulators and OEM’s has given Michael a global view of the aircraft maintenance world. Having the fortune of being involved in many new and exciting directions in aviation including the introduction of new fleet types to airlines and the start up of new aviation focused business ventures around the globe has enabled Michael to be an active change agent with an entrepreneurial spirit to his current Regulatory, Quality, Safety and Training focused role at ACM. Michael Holds Transport Canada Approved Aircraft Maintenance type training on Boeing 777-200/300, Boeing 737-600/700/800, Airbus A300B4 and McDonell -Douglas MD-80 series aircraft.
