Jean-Philippe Marouzé is Director, Product and Advanced Composite Value Chain at Bombardier Aerostructures and Engineering Services. He has overall responsibility on the product, cost, quality and schedule for this value chain. He also leads a cross-functional team to ensure both rate and recurring cost objectives are achieved for C Series composite structures produced at the Saint-Laurent Manufacturing Centre. His mandate also extends to research and development activities to help grow engineering and manufacturing capabilities at the Saint-Laurent site.
Mr. Marouzé joined Bombardier in August 2005 as a Stress Engineer. He was involved in developing the C Series Aft Fuselage hybrid structure since the very beginning, from defining the structure to selecting the manufacturing process and developing the overall certification strategy to support program requirements. He supports the As-Designed vs As-Built approach for composite structures and Value Engineering to provide maximum benefit for Bombardier, its shareholders and its customers.
Mr. Marouzé started his career at Dassault Aviation (France) as a Vibration and Dynamic Engineer, he moved to composite structure engineering through a research and development program for primary composite structures.
Jean-Philippe holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (France) and a Master of Science from Laval University (Canada).
