Henri has over 30 years of combined service with the Canadian Forces and the Canadian Coast Guard. 

Henri began his career in the Canadian Air Force as a Sea King helicopter navigator and subsequently served in both operational and management roles.  Operationally, he sailed on every class of naval vessel capable of helo operations and also completed a six month tour in Afghanistan. His administrative positions revolved mostly around project management having worked on the Maritime Helicopter and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle projects and culminated in the role of Commanding Officer for the Helicopter Operational Test and Evaluation Facility.

Since joining the Coast Guard in 2008, Henri has had the opportunity to again work in both operational and project management roles.  Initially, he managed the national Search and Rescue program and afterwards the Maritime Security Operations program.  Since 2016, he has been working in Vessel Procurement, initially on the Polar Icebreaker project and more recently on the procurement of various interim measures to sustain Coast Guard fleet operations. 

Henri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Collège Militaire Royal de St-Jean and a Master of Business Administration from Ottawa University.  He obtained his Project Management Professional certificate in 2007.
