David Gregory, president of The CanRep Group Inc., is pleased to announce that its MRO company AvTec Aero Maintenance Inc. of Saint-Laurent, Quebec. has concluded an agreement with ASE S.p.A. of Milan, Italy in which AvTec Aero has been appointed as ASE's first foreign Approved Service Center. 

ASE S.p.A. is a well established design, development and manufacturer of aircraft power generation, distribution and management systems, focusing primarily AgustaWestland and Alenia Aermacchi helicopters and aircraft. Initially, AvTec Aero will support ASE components installed in the AW139 and EH-101 helicopters operated in Canada and the United States. 

“The association with ASE is a major step for us as we focus on developing AvTec Aero’s future in the helicopter MRO business of Power Generation and Distribution components” stated Gregory.

 

Paolo Fantini, managing director of ASE, noted that "this is a major step in ASE's development and expansion in the global market".
