Avionics for Today & Tomorrow

• ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-664 (AFDX) and more!
• You will learn about avionic system architecture considerations including:
  • Scheduled vs asynchronous transmission modes
  • Network switch selection and bandwidth optimization strategies
  • Virtual link (VL) & port configuration for various messages and end systems
  • Development & operational debugging strategies and tools

Afternoon Sessions:
Sensors & Control for Avionics

• The sensors used in any applications vary from synchro/resolvers, to speed sensors (variable reluctance inputs), to temperature, pressure, and strain measurement devices.
• You will learn about various aspects of analog measurements which include signal conditioning, open or shorted sensor detection, as well as digital control and monitoring.

Software Design & System Architecture for Real-Time Control & Monitoring

• Real aerospace application examples for deterministic acquisition and control with distributed synchronization.
• You will learn about various software/network based alternatives to reflective memory as well as best practices for augmenting your future industrial IoT solutions.

Sign-in will begin at 10AM. Questions will be welcomed throughout the day and during breaks, also giving you the chance to interact with live hardware & software demonstrations.
