Mecachrome Canada signs a major contract with the Cyril Bath Company for the manufacturing of titanium airframe components.

Mirabel, May 16, 2016 – Mecachrome Canada, a leading provider of assemblies and machined components to the aerospace industry, is pleased to announce a major long term contract with ARIES Manufacturing, a titanium part manufacturing business formerly marketed as the Cyril Bath Company in Monroe, North Carolina USA. These critical airframe components require complex 5-axis machining of titanium, machined 5 parts at the time, and the components are used on new designs of major commercial airplane programs.

"There is great match between ARIES Manufacturing/Cyril Bath and its exclusive Hot Stretch Forming or HSF® technology for the contour forming of titanium extrusions, and Mecachrome’s ability and capacity for long bed and complex titanium machining. This initial multimillion dollar contract is a clear demonstration of Mecachrome’s competitive strength and experience for this type of manufacturing process on the global scene “said Jean-Charles Raillat, CEO at Mecachrome Canada.
