The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is hosting The ICAO Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP) Global Summit and Exhibition on 27 to 28 November 2017 at ICAO Headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
The two-day Summit is intended to promote coordination and cooperation amongst the aviation community and education sectors for the development of strategies and tools to engage and retain the next generation of aviation professionals.
The main objectives of the ICAO NGAP Global Summit are to:
- Continue to raise awareness regarding the impending shortage of aviation professionals and encourage Civil Aviation Authorities to communicate and cooperate with government and education bodies to promote aviation as a profession;
- Promote cooperation and coordination for the development of common NGAP guidelines for use by all aviation stakeholders (i.e. Civil Aviation Authorities, industry, international organizations and academia).
- Facilitate the exchange of knowledge, ideas, best practices and experiences regarding NGAP related activities amongst States, industry, international organizations and academia;
- Encourage collaboration between States and the aviation community to identify long-term human resource needs and establish strategies to attract, educate and retain aviation professionals, considering gender equality.
Along with various activities planned to stimulate students' interest in the aviation sector (Speed Mentoring, Model ICAO Forum) participants will also have the opportunity to experience an interactive exhibition showcasing products and services to the public and private sector audience from around the globe.
In view of the above, we would like to offer you, as a member of Aéro Montréal, the opportunity to have an exhibit booth space at a special rate of 1,000 USD (regular price 3500 USD) to participate in the Summit and meet with the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals.
