A City of Wichita team is coming to Montreal Dec. 4-6 to meet with Canadian companies interested in investing in / expanding operations to Wichita, Kansas.

Canadian companies are often looking for investment opportunities in the U.S. to increase their ROI, and Kansas actually has the #1 rate of Canadian investment of all the states in the U.S.

Wichita is also home to one of the world’s best known aviation clusters, hosts the industry's top general aviation OEMs - Bombardier Learjet and Textron Aviation, and delivers 35% of all general aviation airplanes built in the United States.

You want to grow in the U.S. and to know more about many successes companies like Bombardier have had in locating to Wichita?

The meetings we are organizing are introductory 1- 1.5 hour meetings with companies that might be interested in expanding into Wichita / doing a joint venture with partners there.

Meetings involve introductions, a tour of the company’s facilities, a presentation of the benefits of doing business in Wichita, and discussion of what each Montreal business is looking for in terms of expansion.

For those companies that do decide they want to expand into Wichita, the Economic Development team marshals their considerable resources to make the transition as seamless as possible, including providing the following support:
