In the wake of recent macroeconomic transformations, financial crisis, government debt crisis, political turnarounds and institutional distrust, to name just a few, the Aerospace industry must adapt to cope with the new set of challenges. Subcontractors are global, OEMs multiply, and financing structures diversify. At the same time, new burdens appear, such as surging oil prices, carbon taxes, and wider offset conditions. The proposed series of intensive courses will focus on this challenging environment and these new data to analyze, develop and strategize on current and future business models.

The Aerospace Management Intensive Program will be offered for the third time in April 2014. It is a joint HEC Montréal – Toulouse Business School initiative that provides a unique opportunity for managers working in the aerospace industry to improve their knowledge of key management processes and discuss some of the most challenging issues in their field. The program consists of three seminars that will be facilitated by leading professors from both prestigious schools.

Participants can register for one, two or all three seminars covering the following topics: 1) Launching a Program & Business Development, 2) Managing Subcontractors in Aerospace, and 3) Managing Customer Services in Aerospace.

Each seminar consists of an elective course in the Aerospace Executive MBA program at Toulouse Business School (TBS). Industry participants that register for those seminars will therefore be mixed with regular TBS MBA students with solid industry experience and coming from 17 different countries. This unique blend of participants from several continents and various organizations (OEM, subcontractors, airlines, government, etc.) will in itself provide a very rich learning and networking experience.
