December 7th, the selection of TRAF for Parcours Innovation PME Montréal 2018 was announced at the Maison des regions à Montreal in front of an audience composed of business leaders, municipal, government and university representatives as well as members of the business community.
This major entrepreneurial event led to the official launch of the 2018 edition of this Montreal city’s initiative designed to support SMEs in their growth and innovation ambitions. TRAF's Business Development Director, Mr. Maxime Hince, was very enthusiastic about the selection of the SME: "The Parcours Innovation team has proven itself and has clearly demonstrated its contribution to the commercial success of SMEs such as TRAF; we too intend to benefit from it!".
On December 11th, Aéro Montréal also recognized TRAF's progression by awarding its leaders the MACH plaque, which means that the SME will benefit from a strategic development mentorship offered by Nétur, a manufacturer of jet engine components with a extensive experience of more than 35 years in the fields of aerospace and defense. The audit of the MACH excellence framework revealed that TRAF has an overall performance indicator of 2. "Knowing that an airliner travel at average 0.8 MACH, we are proud to be able to count on a team that advances at a speed MACH 2 and wants to move up a gear," mentioned M. Eric Giroux, TRAF’s president. "The innovation and continuous improvement projects portfolio is well-stocked and will grow over time.
