M1 Composites Technology Achieves MACH 4 and AS9110 Certification

M1 Composites Technology has achieved MACH 4 in the five-stage MACH initiative and has added AS9110 certification to its growing list of accreditations.

The AeroMontreal MACH initiative is designed to optimize the performance of Québec’s aerospace supply chain and increase its global competitiveness through innovation, continuous improvement, and quality. M1 Composites started the program at MACH 2 – an achievement in itself – and has become one of the fastest growing companies in the initiative.

AS9110 is an extension of the AS9100 aerospace standard with additional requirements specific to aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul. This certification goes beyond M1 Composites’ existing Transport Canada, FAA, and EASA approvals by providing customers with a global standard for quality and service. The achievement of MACH 4 and AS9110 has had tangible benefits to M1 Composites’ customers worldwide with improved quality, reduced turnaround times, and lower cost.

“M1 Composites’ commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is highlighted by these accomplishments. Having the agility to quickly become a strategic supplier, while maintaining international standards for quality and service is key to our success going forward. M1 Composites has its sights set much higher; MACH 4 and AS9110 will solidify our foundation for continued growth.” said Lorenzo Marandola, President – M1 Composites.
