The Doing MRO in Canada Conference is an event organized by Ontario Aerospace Council (OAC) in collaboration with Aero Montreal, AIAC Pacific, Atlantic Canada Aerospace & Defence Association and Manitoba Aerospace and will be held at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel on October 29th, 2018.

Focused on the Canadian aerospace MRO Sector, the goal is to develop a dialogue so as to collaborate on strategic issues facing the sector. This Second Edition will further explore the challenges, key opportunities and new trends in this market: MRO 4.0 & Technologies of Choice, Impact of Global Regulatory Changes, Shortage in Skilled Workforce, New Training Programs, Cybersecurity Preparedness, Opportunities from Canadian procurement programs & ITBs, Impact of NextGen aircrafts, and more.

More than 100 participants from across Canada and beyond are expected to participate on October 29th. Bringing together the MRO supply chain, airlines, OEMs, stakeholders from government and regulatory agencies, academia and aerospace clusters. The conference also promises to be the Canadian MRO networking event of the year!

  • Maze Hobeyn - Maze Hobeyn has been with Jazz Aviation LP since 1990 and is the Director, Component Services responsible for the Component Shops and GSE. He is a licensed AME, certified GE Six Sigma Black Belt, and also the Chairperson for the RAA Maintenance Committee.
