Project Leader, Strategic initiatives, Competitiveness & Productivity
Martin-Charles Boucher joined Aéro Montréal in 2017 and now holds the position of Project Leader, Strategic Initiatives, Competitiveness and Productivity. His mandate is to support the competitiveness and productivity of companies in the ecosystem by ensuring the implementation of concerted actions and initiatives that meet their needs. For example Martin-Charles has set up the MACH FAB 4.0 (2017), Start Aero 360(2019), Eco-responsibility (2022) & Preferred Suppliers (2022) initiatives that aim to support companies in acquiring key competencies to reach global supply chains. Since 2022, Martin-Charles has taken the lead of the strategic initiatives division. With his experience in the implementation of initiatives since his arrival at Aéro Montréal, he is now responsible for the coordination of initiatives and works with the various project managers to maximize the benefits for companies in the ecosystem.
Martin-Charles holds a master's degree in aerospace engineering from Polytechnique Montreal and completed a microprogram in management and manufacturing intelligence at the University of Sherbrooke in 2020. He also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification since 2018. Prior to joining Aéro Montréal, Martin-Charles held several roles within companies such as Bombardier and Bell Helicopter that allowed him to better understand the needs of the companies and to develop a good knowledge of manufacturing plant operations. In 2018, he was nominated Emerging Project Manager of the Year by PMI Montreal.
